About
Francois Lafortune Front-End Web Developer
Javascript sadist, multiple accounts of CSS fraud. When they found me, I had consumed a cocktail of XHR, XML, JSON. But I survived!
Welcome to a Quickredfox digest of internet doohickeys. An emporium of magical artifacts of the web genre. Javascriptude, CSSex and HTMLmelade spread on real-time buzzword bread! A fantastical journey through refreshes and console.logs. A collection of memorabilia and miscellany gathered around the subject of Quickredfox. A controlled environment allowing the thorough study of quickredfoxisms and how one becomes and remains a #boombastically #geekiciososo front-end web developer. A book with a variable beginning, a variable middle ,a variable end on a variable topic and no foreseeable intention. Or maybe it's just another pointless developer website meant to convey an illusion of grandeur and mastery?
Be fore-warned! Upon this assemblage of disparate copy you may stumble upon odd lunacies and eccentric degenerative behavior as it is common to expect of a Child Of The Internets. Should such an event impose disruption upon light stomachs or lesser minds due to natural incompatibilities in thinking and perception, I propose such guilty parties would abstain from insult and exit.
Of course, I gather some of you will want to participate or worship at my feet as you bathe them in morning dew from the rare Rafflesia keithii flower freshly picked from the Central Panay mountain range. This is very welcome behavior yet — though I encourage it — I cannot participate in the travel expenses this endows. I am nonetheless open to receiving massive financial donations with no strings attached.
Rantology
Here will be something that resembles a blog. It will have blog-like features and shit like that. Some opinion pieces maybe. But it wont be a blog because I dont really take the time to blog.
Works
Though many projects I have worked on are available on the web it would be quite pointless of me to list them and I have yet to find a creative manner of displaying my oeuvres. A preeventualist magnum opus is not an obvious task to undertake. Nevertheless, industry conventions obliging me to banter upon personal mastery, I shall at least attempt some form of self portrayal.
I am me.
I was e-born in the age of SB 16s, .s3m's and USR 2400 Bps. I lost myself in sound and music and a whole slew of nasty nightlife naughtiness. Resuscitated upon the age of XHTML STRICT and never opting for less (technically arguable). I eat markup for breakfast with a half-numb brain and dream in hexadecimal colors; I believe it is somewhat innate and has to be. I would have to say that the biggest task I have ever undertaken was starting to work at Praized.
My current employment is my biggest achievement and a constant achievement and the only achievement you really need to know about. Basically, you can say I have edited, created or monitored every singe piece of HTML, CSS, and Javascript ever output anything Praized. It's a bit of a clutter sometimes but that's mostly due to our constant evolution combined with my explorative nature.
I work with frameworks. I adapt. Drunk on Javascript. I kicks ass!
